Save Wimbledon Park Judicial Review at Royal Courts of Justice in The Strand on 8th and 9th July
Save Wimbledon Park has been given permission to proceed with a Judicial Review of the GLA Planning Committee’s decision to aprrove the planning application by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) to build 39 new tennis courts on protected land in Wimbledon Park.
The Judicial Review will be held at the Royal Courts of Justice in The Strand on 8th and 9th July. The Save Wimbledon Park campaign is encouraging local residents to attend to demonstrate their support.

Our 2025 AGM was held at Hotel du Vin on 10th June 2025. Paul Kohler MP spoke.
This year’s AGM was held at Hotel du Vin on Tuesday 10th June 2025.
Paul Kohler. Wimbledon’s MP, joined us together with Ursula Faulkner, who works in his office in Westminster. Paul and Ursula gave an update on various local issues and Paul described some of his experiences as a newly elected MP.
Draft minutes, awaiting final approval at next year’s AGM, will shortly be added to the website.

WCWRA Meetings
Last year’s AGM was held at Cannizaro House on 4 June 2024.

As had been agreed at the 2022 AGM the membership fee is now £10.00 per household per annum.
This year’s AGM will be held at Hotel du Vin, Cannizaro House, in the Pol Roger Suite , on Tuesday10th June starting at 7:30 pm.
The last committee meeting was held on Tuesday 1st April 2025.
The next committee meeting will be held at 7:30pm on Wednesday 15th October 2025. If you would like to have an item added to the agenda please click here to email us.
